Taking the Film Director's Toolkit course involves solving an abandoned house mystery through assignments offered by a ghost, getting a mysterious inheritance, decoding the magic of famous films, and finally, making your own film. An original film script is provided and included in the price of the course.
The Others In Your Home
The game is about using a camera to create an illusion. You will wander around an abandoned house with a ghost for a companion. The game has six game maps and six quests to solve in every room of the house. After completing the assignments, you will shoot first scenes for your film about ghosts. And besides, you will learn how to manipulate lighting and how to properly use camera shot sizes and angles.
Grandpa’s Strongbox
In the second game of the course, you will learn how to work with actors and shoot new footage for your ghost movie. To open Grandpa’s strongbox, you need to find four video keys and the best camera positions and angles for filming actors to best tell your story.
Magic Cinema
In Game 3 you solve the abandoned house mystery and edit footage recorded in Games 1 and 2. Your final product is a film about the abandoned house. The magical cinema portal serves as an entry to a curious world. Everything you encounter there provides tips for you on how to use the director's script included in the game's materials to edit footage you shot in the first two games, and finally how to complete your movie.
